Das Bild ist im September 2023 an der Westküste von Irland (Klippen von Kilkee) aufgenommen und zeigt eine kleine Gruppe von Männern, die an den Klippen angeln. Mir hat diese Aufnahme der Situation gut gefallen, weil alle Männer separat dargestellt sind und sich gegen dem hellen Meer recht gut abzeichnen. Die Körperhaltung der Männer und insbesondere die gebogene Angel des zweiten Mannes von rechts vermittelt Dynamik, das durch die unten links sitzenden und beobachtende Figur unterstreicht wird. Die horizontale Dreiteilung des Bildes in Vordergrund (Klippen), Mittelgrund (Meer) und Hintergrund (Meer) verleiht dem Bild zusätzliche Tiefe und eine klare Struktur.

Das Bild ist ein Schnappschuss, da ich eigentlich auf die alte Dampflok gewartet habe. Plötzlich stand das Reh auf den Gleisen. Sekunden später war es zum Glück aber wieder weg.
